The Teesworks Skills Academy is supporting individuals like you to take advantage of the new jobs and opportunities linked to the Teesworks site, either directly or in the supply chain.
We can give you access to the skills and training you need to be able to apply and secure local jobs.
Through its network of training delivery partners, we offer training from entry level through to specialist industry skills, creating a clear career pathway from school to retirement, including:
Upskilling – access to thousands of courses across the Tees Valley
Site Access Certification – CSCS, CCNSG and other vital short certificates to access the site
Career Change – use transferable skills along with new qualifications to start a new path
Pre-employment & Employability – specific courses designed by industry with guaranteed interviews at the end
Apprenticeship – gain a qualification while you earn
Vacancy / Recruitment – be the first to see the Jobs on the site
The Teesworks Skills Academy has access to more than 300 industry specific courses which all link directly to employment.
It all starts with a contact form where you can submit your CV, or request support with updating your CV.
The Teesworks Skills Academy team will then work with you to review your skills, identify courses and training which link to your career goal, and connect you with Teesworks employers, supporting you through the application and interview process for available and upcoming roles.

Why are we collecting this information?You have given STDC (Teesworks) your contact details (name, email address, telephone number and military service information) because you are interested in hearing about job and training opportunities on the Teesworks site. We, the members of the Teesworks Skills Academy (listed below), will use your contact details to keep in touch about these opportunities. We will not be using your personal data for any other marketing purposes or to send you general information about Teesworks, Tees Valley Combined Authority or the Tees Valley Mayor.
How we will use your Data? We will check the data you entered appears accurate and we will then contact you with relevant information about opportunities at the Teesworks site. We may pass your contact details and preferences to the wider partners that make up the Teesworks Skills Academy. This information will only be shared for the purpose of letting you know about opportunities or in providing training and/or employment support specifically for the Teesworks site. The partners are:

How long will we keep your personal data?We will keep the database for up to 12 months, at which time we may contact you to confirm whether or not you want us to continue to hold your contact details and send you information about future jobs. This is set out in our Data Retention Policy.
How can I be removed from this database?You can ask us to stop contacting you about opportunities at the Teesworks site or to ask us to delete your contact details from our database at any time. Simply email us at jobs@teesworksskillsacademy.co.uk and we will delete your data within one week.
We also include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of our e-marketing emails – you can use that link to opt out of receiving further email marketing about jobs and training opportunities at the Teesworks site.
